Designs That Inspire

I am a retired elementary music teacher, and gifted and talented coordinator who has explored fine art most of my life. I have fine tuned my eclectic approach with mixed media. I got my Zentangle Teaching Certification in 2022 so I could enjoy sharing my knowledge again.

I have now discovered my signature art style throug drawing and inking patterns with a theme. Mandalas have become one of my favorite endeavors. I use paper for the art, then adhere it to wood panels, canvas, chipboard, or foam board. Each piece is then protected by several layers of fixative and varnish glaze. I want my work to withstand time in the utmost manner.

My art is inspired by patterns from my experiences and by other Zentangle artist around the world. I draw with a meditative process in mind. My hope is that my work will have an inspirational feeling to others.
